Who is responsible for handling your personal data?

When do we collect personal data from you?
We collect your personal data while you are in contact with Hybrit. For example, we may ask you to provide your personal data when you subscribe to a newsletter, so we can keep you informed about the development, construction and/or operation of a type of plant. We may also ask you to provide your personal data in connection with a community event or trade fair, where we provide information and ask for your opinions.
What personal data do we collect?
Hybrit may collect and process personal data such as your name, address, e-mail address and your telephone number. In some cases, we also document your opinions, ideas and concerns, since these, as far as possible, assist in the design, development, construction and/or operation of our plants.

What rights do you have regarding your personal data?
You have the right to access your personal data. For this reason, you may ask for information from us specifying the personal data we process and for what purposes. Moreover, you have the right to correct your personal data, if it has been processed in an incorrectly or incompletely. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and request that your personal data be deleted, provided that it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected.
If you wish to invoke any of the above rights, please notify Hybrit’s Data Protection Officer via the e-mail address below. Please attach a copy of a valid ID (driver’s license, passport or ID card) to this notification. This is required by Hybrit because we must be able to ensure that you are the person whose personal data is involved, as well as to prevent the wrong personal data from being deleted.
Hybrit will reply to you by no later than one month after receipt of your request.
With whom do we share your personal data?
Within Hybrit, personal data may be processed by employees who need to have access to the personal data to do their work. For example, this is the case for employees within our permit and communication team or other functions that handle information about Hybrit’s development. In connection with our activities, we can also ask external partners to assist when we are arranging meetings or providing information about development, construction and/or operation of an installation.
How long do we keep your personal data?
Hybrit stores your personal data for as long as you wish to be informed about the development, construction and/or operation of an installation or plant during its lifetime, or until the statutory procedure you are involved in is completed. Thereafter, your personal data will be deleted.
How secure is your personal data with Hybrit?
Hybrit takes appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data against loss and all forms of illegal processing. We store your personal data on servers in a secure environment, where it is protected against illegal access, publication and use by unauthorized persons in and outside the Hybrit Organization.

Hybrit has appointed a Data Protection Officer to advise the organization and monitor Hybrit’s compliance with laws and regulations related to data protection.
