How does HYBRIT handle personal information?

Privacy is a fundamental right. For this reason, it is very important for us to protect the personal data we receive from you at Hybrit Development AB. We handle and protect your personal data with the utmost care.

Here, we explain how we handle your personal data, why we ask for it and what we use it for.

Who is responsible for handling your personal data?
Hybrit Development AB, Box 70359, 107 24 Stockholm, is responsible for processing your personal data.

When do we collect personal data from you?
We collect your personal data while you are in contact with Hybrit. For example, we may ask you to provide your personal data when you subscribe to a newsletter, so we can keep you informed about the development, construction and/or operation of a type of plant. We may also ask you to provide your personal data in connection with a community event or trade fair, where we provide information and ask for your opinions.

What personal data do we collect?
Hybrit may collect and process personal data such as your name, address, e-mail address and your telephone number. In some cases, we also document your opinions, ideas and concerns, since these, as far as possible, assist in the design, development, construction and/or operation of our plants.

How do we use your personal data?
Hybrit may use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To send an invitation to an information event about the development, construction and/or operation of a plant.
• To send out newsletters, e-mails or similar information bulletins regarding the development, construction and/or operation of an installation or plant.
• To send you reports, or to inform you about the publication of reports, in which your anonymized views have been taken into consideration.

On what occasions are we permitted to use your personal data?
Processing of personal data must be grounded on a legal basis. Hybrit collects and processes your personal data solely on the grounds of the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interest: on the basis of our legitimate interests, we process personal data for the purpose of notifying and informing local residents and other stakeholders about a plant as a means of involving them and including and/or taking into account their views regarding the development of the plant to the extent that can reasonably be expected of Hybrit.
• Compliance with legal requirements: under the provisions of several regulations and regulations, Hybrit must involve stakeholders in the development phase of a proposed installation or plant.

If you do not want Hybrit to use your personal data for any of the above purposes, you may invoke your right to object as set out below.

What rights do you have regarding your personal data?
You have the right to access your personal data. For this reason, you may ask for information from us specifying the personal data we process and for what purposes. Moreover, you have the right to correct your personal data, if it has been processed in an incorrectly or incompletely. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and request that your personal data be deleted, provided that it is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected.

If you wish to invoke any of the above rights, please notify Hybrit’s Data Protection Officer via the e-mail address below. Please attach a copy of a valid ID (driver’s license, passport or ID card) to this notification. This is required by Hybrit because we must be able to ensure that you are the person whose personal data is involved, as well as to prevent the wrong personal data from being deleted.

Hybrit will reply to you by no later than one month after receipt of your request.

With whom do we share your personal data?
Within Hybrit, personal data may be processed by employees who need to have access to the personal data to do their work. For example, this is the case for employees within our permit and communication team or other functions that handle information about Hybrit’s development. In connection with our activities, we can also ask external partners to assist when we are arranging meetings or providing information about development, construction and/or operation of an installation.

How long do we keep your personal data?
Hybrit stores your personal data for as long as you wish to be informed about the development, construction and/or operation of an installation or plant during its lifetime, or until the statutory procedure you are involved in is completed. Thereafter, your personal data will be deleted.

How secure is your personal data with Hybrit?
Hybrit takes appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data against loss and all forms of illegal processing. We store your personal data on servers in a secure environment, where it is protected against illegal access, publication and use by unauthorized persons in and outside the Hybrit Organization.

Do you have any questions about privacy in Hybrit or do you have a complaint to make?
Hybrit has appointed a Data Protection Officer to advise the organization and monitor Hybrit’s compliance with laws and regulations related to data protection. You can also file a complaint with the Data Protection Officer regarding Hybrit’s processing of your personal data. Complaints can also be submitted to the Swedish Data Protection Authority, for example, if you feel that your complaint has not been handled correctly by Hybrit.
